A Tilbury man faces child pornography after Chatham-Kent police followed up on a complaint in late August.
On Aug. 29, police received a complaint of found child pornography and seized a cellular phone.
Two weeks later, on Sept. 14, the Internet Child Exploitation Unit received and executed a warrant to search the phone.
Analysis confirmed that the man was in possession of child pornography images and videos which were distributed on two separate dates, police say.
Yesterday, a 33-year-old Tilbury man was arrested and charged with possessing child pornography and two counts of distributing child pornography.
He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
