A Chatham woman is facing serious charges in connection wth a March accident on St. Clair Road that claimed two lives.
Chatham-Kent OPP say the crash took place March 28 at about 4:25 p.m. between Border Road and Heritage Line.
An 87-year-old woman and an 88-year-old man, both from Sarnia, died from injuries sustained in the collision.
Sarah Suitor, 39, is charged with two counts of impaired operation of a conveyance causing death, two counts of impaired operation of a conveyance causing death – excessive drug concentration, two counts of dangerous operation causing death, and possession of a controlled substance (fentanyl).
She will appear in court Aug. 27.
