Weapons charges

Chatham-Kent police say an early morning alteration in Blenheim has led to weapons charges against one man.

Police say the incident took place just before 2:30 a.m. on Snow Avenue where a man threatened to stab another man.

The alleged assailant is charged with weapons dangerous, uttering threats and assault with a weapon.

Kayaks stolen

Sometime overnight, unknown suspect(s) cut a hole in a fence on Dover Street in Chatham and stole two kayaks.

Police continue to investigate

Bail Violations

A male was involved in a motor vehicle collision on Pain Court Line. Police say the driver was on a release with house arrest conditions.  The driver had no reason for being out of his residence.

He is charged with breach of recognizance.

Police responded to a suspicious person report on McNaughton Avenue in Wallaceburg and found their suspect.

Investigation found the male to be under house arrest.

Warrants

Male was arrested for Mischief and Bail Violation from an investigation the previous day.

The male had several outstanding warrants with the Chatham-Kent police.
