The Chatham-Kent Association of Realtors recently donated to help front-line health care services locally.

CKAR provided $2,800 to the Foundation of the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance. It’s part of a $480,000 donation made by the Ontario Real Estate Association that will be distributed by the Ontario Realtors Care Foundation to shelters, food banks and shelter-based charities.

“The unprecedented impact of COVID-19 has been felt around the world, including in our local community of Chatham-Kent, with migrant workers being disproportionately affected,” said Michael Gibbons, President CKAR, in a media release. “Here in the community of Chatham-Kent, we have been proud to partner with CKHAF, and have witnessed first hand the tremendous work they do to support our hospital. We hope that this donation will help them continue to flatten the curve.”
