Chatham Voice reader Alex VanderEnde sent in this apocalypse-esque photo of the playground at Sertoma Park in Chatham recently.
Even on warm, sunny days and with no children in school, the playgrounds sit empty, as people are forbidden by the municipality to use them during the COVID-19 pandemic.
This park is at the corner of Highland Drive and Freeland Avenue. Walk by and listen to the creak of chains as the wind slowly rocks the empty swings.
