Chatham-Kent Secondary School will play host to the AAA girls’ OFSAA volleyball championships next month.

Matches will take place at CKSS and the St. Clair College Healthplex from March 9-11, with the final day of games taking place at the Healthplex.

Sixteen teams from across Ontario will be in participating in the tournament. There will be 300 athletes and coaches attending this tournament along with family and friends.

It has been more than a decade since CKSS has hosted girls’ OFSAA volleyball.

Mike and Elish Smith, co-convenors, are “excited to give the senior girls at CKSS an OFSAA experience but also wanted to showcase the whole CKSS community and the talents that the students and staff have. Our community has simply been amazing in their support of this event – specifically TekSavvy and St. Clair College for their generous donations.”

Tickets can be purchased at CKSS or the Healthplex during tournament play. The first serve is at 9 a.m. on March 9 at both locations. Ticket prices are: Tournament Pass, $20; Day Pass, $10; Student/Seniors Day Pass, $5; Children under 13, free.
