In one incident, police say a man spat in a woman’s face and threw a shoe at her.
The man and woman began arguing and it escalated where the man spat in the woman’s face, police say, before pulling off a shoe and throwing it at her, striking her in the process.
A 41-year-old man is charged with assault and assault with a weapon.
And shortly before 1 p.m. Wednesday, police say a man walked into Wal-Mart in Wallaceburg and began shouting and cursing at employees.
The man then went into the washroom and attacked the partition wall between the urinals, police say.
He fled before officers arrived, but they found their suspect nearby.
A 27-year-old man faces charges of mischief.
