Drivers at two ends of the age spectrum face charges of careless driving after two separate accidents last night in Chatham-Kent.
Shortly after 6:30 p.m., no one was injured when three vehicles collided in Chatham on Lacroix Street near Park Avenue.
Total damage was estimated at $12,000.
A 90-year-old Chatham man is charged with careless driving.
About 30 minutes later, emergency crews responded to a single vehicle accident on Queen’s Line between Merlin Road and Drake Road.
Police say the driver, a 23-year-old Chatham man, was taken to hospital as a precaution.
He also faces a careless driving charge.
Damage in that crash is estimated at about $5,000.
