Chatham-Kent police caught a guy wheeling five spools of copper wire down Raleigh Street in Chatham Sunday morning.

Police say someone called in a report of two suspicious men pulling a cart near Southwest Warehousing on Raleigh Street. Officers found one of the men pulling a wagon with the copper wire covered by a blanket.

Investigation revealed the wiring had been stolen from a Raleigh Street business.

A 46-year-old Tilbury man faces a charge of possession of stolen property.
