Give the gift of reading this holiday with a CKPL Gift membership.
Gift memberships grant the user 24/7 access to CKPL’s Virtual Library so they can enjoy thousands of ebooks, streaming movies and music, emagazines and more.
Residents of Chatham-Kent, St. Thomas or the counties of Essex, Elgin, Lambton and Middlesex without an active CKPL library card are eligible for a Gift Membership.
Once received, the application will be reviewed by library staff and gift givers will be contacted within three business days.
Gift memberships can be picked up at a CKPL branch of your choice.
CKPL Gift memberships are valid until March 1, 2020. To continue accessing CKPL’s services, Gift memberships can be upgraded at any CKPL branch by presenting the library card and a piece of ID. Children under 16 wishing to upgrade their gift membership must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. The parent or legal guardian must present their ID along with the child’s library card.
To apply for a CKPL gift membership, fill out the gift membership form at www.ckpl.ca or apply in person at your local CKPL branch. CKPL requires information about you, the gift giver, and your gift recipient. Gift memberships can be applied for between Dec. 1 and 20.
