That is apparently what happened early this morning in Chatham.
Police responded to a disturbance and learned a female teen had assaulted her ex-boyfriend and damaged his phone while in possession of a hammer.
A 15-year-old Chatham girl faces charged of mischief, assault, and assault with a weapon.
The ex-boyfriend received medical treatment on scene by paramedics.
