The WISH Centre is home to the Wee Movers on Saturday.
From 9:30 a.m. to noon, the centre plays host to an event that encourages children to crawl, run, jump, throw, and catch with their caregivers.
This event will include interactive learning stations with Maeghan James, a Child Health Researcher from the University of Toronto, who will be teaching about the importance of physical literacy.
Physical literacy is the motivation, confidence, physical competence, knowledge, and understanding to value and take responsibility for engagement in physical activities for life.
