It’s break-in and fuel-theft time in Chatham-Kent, apparently.
The fuel thieves went to work Monday night, hitting two places, one in Ridgetown and one in Chatham.
Police say sometime Monday night, somebody went to Ridgetown Feed and Supply and cut the line to the Fuel-on-Site, removing 700 litres of gas.

The same night, thieves cut the line to the Fuel-on-Site at a Bothwell Street business in southwest Chatham. Police say this time they made off with 3,000 litres of fuel.

Sometime between Aug. 2 and Aug. 6, someone forced their way into a locked construction trailer on Bothwell Street in Chatham.
Police say the person broke a rear door to gain access. Once inside, they stole a large quantity of construction tools.

On Tuesday afternoon, someone broke into a residence on Bloomfield Avenue in Chatham, stealing various electronic devices and cash.
