Ditch clean up with a kayak

College buddies Devin Birkby and Braeden Murphy took it upon themselves to clean up the ditch along Baldoon Road between Gregory Drive to a point opposite Our Lady of Fatima School on a soggy Saturday.

The higher water in the ditches made it easier for the two men, as they even employed a small kayak to get to the litter. The pair filled up eight garbage bags, with much of the bulk comprised of empty plastic bottles.
