An overnight fire on Patteson Avenue in Chatham did about $50,000 damage to a home and sent two people to hospital.
The Office of the Fire Marshall is investigating in the wake of the fire, which was first spotted by a police officer driving by the home who noticed smoke coming from the house and notified the family.
The father and a son were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
