Public input sought on council meeting locations

Citizens of Chatham-Kent are being asked to weigh in on the possibility of municipal council meetings being held in locations other than the Civic Centre.

Mayor Darrin Canniff has made a notice of motion to hold two council meetings per year in locations outside of Chatham. Council will consider the motion sometime in March.

As part of its commitment to engage citizens, the Let’s Talk CK website will host a survey for the next month asking residents their opinion on the move, potential locations and other input.
