In two separate incidents, thieves made off with about $15,000 worth of tools over the weekend.
Sometime late Saturday night or early Sunday morning, someone entered a property under construction on Hidden Valley Road in Blenheim. Once inside, the suspects stole about $5,000 worth of power tools and electrical wiring.

Also sometime late Saturday or early Sunday morning, someone got into a residence on Seventh Line near Chatham and stole tools, a generator, compressor and power washer. Total value of the theft is estimated at more than $10,000.
