Chatham-Kent voters can still cast their ballot in today’s municipal election even if they don’t have a voter card.
All voters who didn’t get a card in the mail or lost them, must produce personal identification that shows their address.
If voters do not have a drivers licence or other government issued ID that shows their current address, they could bring a phone or utility bill showing their address along with their picture identification.
Voters can go online to find their voting station by going to the municipal website https://www.chatham-kent.ca/local-government/municipal-elections and clicking on the “where do I vote” button or by contacting the municipality at 519-360-1998
Polls open at 10 a.m. and close at 8 p.m.
