Sir: We moved to Chatham in 2007 and love it here. This letter is regarding the new bike trail on Grand from Keil Drive to Bear Line.
Great idea but who signed off on destroying the sidewalk? It boggles my mind that a perfectly good sidewalk, which is still needed by the people who live on the north side has been taken away. Plus the new trail is still blocked off; I road past it recently!
The wheelchair people and those needing their walkers have nowhere to go. It’s a mess.
