Yesterday afternoon around 4:45 p.m. police responded to a motor vehicle collision on Kent Bridge Rd.
Police say a vehicle driving southbound made a left hand turn in front of a vehicle going Northbound.
Two passengers involved were taken to hospital with non-life threaten injuries.
Through investigation, the officer believed the man driving the vehicle southbound was driving while under the influence of alcohol and he was arrested.
The man was transported to police headquarters for breath tests.
A 57-year-old St. Catharines man has been charged with impaired driving causing bodily harm x2 and over 80 mgs of alcohol causing bodily harm x2.
