More guns stolen in C-K

The rash of break-ins around Chatham-Kent continues.

Most recently, people hit homes in Camden Township and Blenheim and a business in Howard Township.

In the Camden break-in, sometime in the past week, thieves stole a variety of items, including a selection of firearms.

Stolen were a Remington .308 rifle, a Stevens .410 shotgun, a Winchester .30-30 rifle, a Colt .45 handgun with left-handed holster, and an Ithaca shotgun.

Also stolen in the theft was a 12-volt batter chargers, a Honda 5000 red generator and Motomaster battery booster pack.

Thieves made off with about $2,000 worth of tools from a robbery in Blenheim.

Police say sometime Thursday between 1:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m., someone broke into a garage on Snow Avenue.

Sometime late Wednesday night or on Thursday before 12:30 p.m., someone got into a business on Kent Bridge Road and stole the surveillance equipment, debit machine and various tools.

Total value of the theft is estimated at $3,000.
