Last night at 5:20 pm the male and victim were both at a business on Talbot St. W. in Blenheim. The victim was waiting in line to purchase his order when the male lunged at him and stabbed him with a knife.
The victim sustained a superficial cut to his abdomen.
The male was identified by witnesses and quickly fled the area.
A 21-year-old Blenheim man was arrested and charged with assault with a weapon and Weapons Dangerous. He was remanded into custody until Aug 7 for a Bail Hearing.
