Chatham-Kent police arrested a man last night in connection with an ongoing fraud investigation.
Police say between June of 2017 and January of this year, a man was hired by the victim to perform general contracting work around his home. They say that during this time period, the hired man stole six cheques and fraudulently used them.
A 51-year-old Dover Township man has been charged with six counts of possession of property obtained by crime, six counts of uttering a forged document and six counts of fraud.
