Chatham-Kent police had a busy time of it Thursday morning at a speed trap on St. Clair Street in Chatham.

Members of the traffic unit set up shop near Paxton Drive, and in short order nabbed 16 drivers for speeding, including one for stunt driving.

Police say a 36-year-old Windsor man blew past the officers doing 106 km/h in a 50 km/h zone.

He’s lost his licence and had his car impounded, both for seven days.

Another motorist received a fine for not wearing a seatbelt.
