It appears one driver was trying to break the sound barrier on Highway 401 Friday night.
Chatham-Kent OPP clocked an eastbound vehicle near Duart Road doing more than 210 km/h. That’s more than twice the legal limit of 100 km/h, and more than 130 mph.
A search of the vehicle also revealed about 10 grams of marijuana.
A 22-year-old Etobicoke man is charged with drug possession, stunt driving and driving without a licence.
