A scary moment last night for a Wallaceburg homeowner.
Police say about 10 p.m. a woman saw a man dressed in camouflage in her fenced-in yard. She called the cops and officers spotted the man running from the area.
Following a short foot chase, the officers apprehended the man, police say, but he resisted arrest, grabbing for an officer’s stun gun.
Police learned the man was also wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court.
A 39-year-old Walpole Island man is charged with trespassing by night and assault with intent to resist arrest.
