We hear about a slew of errant 911 calls, or hang ups that police deal with all the time.
This time around, it paid off for them to check into a number of 911 hang ups from a residence on Baldoon Road yesterday morning about 6 a.m.
Officers went to check on the well-being of the homeowner and found a man in her apartment with conditions not to communicate with the woman.
Police say the guy kept hindering the woman as she tried to call the cops. They say he kept grabbing her cell phone and hanging up, and then resorted to removing the battery and SIM card and hiding them.
