Chatham-Kent police caught up with a Tilbury woman yesterday and arrested her on an outstanding warrant.
Last month, police received information that the woman was harassing and threatening her ex-boyfriend via Facebook and unwanted text messages. These messages dated back to November 2014. Attempts were made to locate the woman, however when unsuccessful, a warrant for criminal harassment and uttering threats was issued for her arrest.
Yesterday afternoon, police found the woman and she was arrested on the outstanding warrant. The 21-year-old Tilbury woman was released pending a future court date of July 12.
