The municipality rang in the New Year by changing curbside garbage pickup to some parts of Chatham-Kent.
That included Thames Street, where residents and businesses, used to putting their trash out on Monday mornings, did so out of habit this week, only to learn pickup is pushed to Wednesdays now.
