Battery Boy, one of the first businesses to come forward to assist Chatham Goodfellows last year to re-stock batteries after a break and enter, made a donation of batteries and $2,000 to the Chatham Goodfellows.
The donated batteries will be packed next week during toy packing Dec. 7 – 10 between 6 pm – 8 pm at the former Sunnen Guspro Building, 280 Grand Avenue East.
The $2,000 donation will be used to purchase food and toys for an estimated 1,500 families in need this Christmas season.
