Police responded to a bomb threat this afternoon at the King Street CIBC in Chatham.
Police say employees at the bank got the threat about 3:30 p.m. from a man inside the bank.
The man fled on foot before police arrived, but officers located him a short distance away, and made an arrest, police say.
The bank was cleared as a precaution, but police determined the threat was a hoax.
No one was injured.
A 52-year-old man of no fixed address remains in custody, and the investigation is ongoing.
