On November 9, 2015, police responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence in Chatham. The man fled prior to police arrival and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Last night, police received information that the man was at a residence in Chatham.
As officers arrived, the man jumped the fence in an attempt to flee. Officers were waiting for him on the other side and he was arrested.
Through investigation, police further learned that the man was breaching his curfew condition.
Upon being searched incident to arrest, the man was also found to be in possession of crystal methamphetamine, a digital scale and small baggies.
The 30-year-old Blenheim man has been charged with uttering threats, possession for the purposes of trafficking and nine counts of failing to comply.
He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
