On Monday, October 19th around 1:45 a.m. police responded to a residence on Elgin Street. Unknown suspect(s) entered the home and assaulted a woman.

The 31-year-old woman was air lifted to a London hospital. She has since been released from hospital.

The Chatham-Kent Police Service has no information to believe that the public is at any greater risk following this incident. The Major Crime Unit continues to investigate and urges anyone with information to contact Constable Dan Hamilton at 519-436-6600 extension #284.
