Chatham Kent Police spent a busy day attending to four motor vehicle collisions Tuesday.

Shortly after 7:00 a.m. police responded to a two vehicle collision on Bloomfield Road near 8th Line. Total damage was estimated at $10,000. A 22-year-old Blenheim man was transported to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance for medical attention. He was also charged with careless driving.

At 8:15 a.m. police responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Brook Line near Baldoon Road in Dover Township. No one was injured. Total damage was estimated at $1000. A 36-year-old Chatham man was charged with careless driving.

Around 2:00 p.m. police responded to a two vehicle collision on Richmond Street between Merritt Avenue and Industrial Drive in Chatham. No one was injured. Total damage was estimated at $1000. A 77-year-old Tilbury man was charged with failing to yield the right of way.

Just before 3:00 p.m. police responded to a two vehicle collision on Richmond Street between Keil Drive and Bothwell Street in Chatham. No one was injured. Total damage was estimated at $5000. A 23-year-old Leamington woman was charged with careless driving.
