In January, April, and August of 2015, a male was charged with domestic related incidents involving a female he was involved with, for approximately two years. In all three incidents, he was released by the Courts on Probation Orders, which included conditions, not to communicate with the victim.
Yesterday afternoon, Chatham-Kent Police received complaint that the male had contacted the victim through an online dating website. The male was located shortly after, and admitted to sending the message. As a result, the 42-year-old Chatham man was arrested and charged with three counts of Fail to Comply with Probation Order, and held for a bail hearing.
