A 44-year-old Blenheim man faces child pornography charges after a lengthy police investigation.
According to the Chatham-Kent Police Service, the Vulnerable Victims unit began investigating in mid-March, searching local networks that contained specific kiddie porn files. They say a local IP address was linked to having access to several of these files.
Police obtained warrants to locate the subscriber of the IP address. Officers seized electronic devices for analysis. The process was completed last month.
On Wednesday, police made their arrest, charging the Blenheim man with accessing and possessing child pornography
