What’s in their wallet?

Apparently, a stolen credit card.

Chatham-Kent police arrested four people Saturday night after someone tried to use a stolen credit card to make a large purchase at a St. Clair Street grocery store in Chatham.

Police say store staff became suspicious when the four tried to make the purchase and they could not get the transaction to process.

The four tried to flee in a cab but officers tracked them down, police say. The card was indeed stolen, and arrests were made.

Two women, 55 and 29, as well as two men 43 and 26, are charged with credit card theft, possession and fraud.
