Chatham-Kent police scooped up a couple of people early this morning that they’ve wanted behind bars for some time.
Shortly after 3 a.m., an officer saw a man on King Street East in Chatham who was bound by several release conditions, including a curfew.
Doug Couvillon, 40, of Chatham is charged with three counts of failing to comply.
Two and a half hours later, police tracked down a man from its wanted list.
Police say in March the man was involved in a domestic dispute with his girlfriend and fled prior to police arrival.
About 5:30 this morning, police picked the man up on Prince Street. The 39-year-old Chatham man is facing charges of assault, assault with a weapon and failing to comply with release conditions.
