The Easter weekend began a little too well for at least one Chatham man.

Emergency personnel were called to Lorne Avenue in Chatham about 1 a.m. on Good Friday to attend to an unresponsive man.

Police say the man was out cold and lying in the roadway with his pants pulled below his waist.

He was wasted, police believe, on drugs and maybe alcohol.

Paramedics checked over a 28-year-old Chatham man and then police took him to jail to sleep it off.
