Chatham-Kent police arrested a Chatham man last night in connection with a domestic dispute.
Police say they received a call to attend a Blythewood Crescent residence in Chatham Wednesday evening. Officers learned the female victim had been assaulted and that her phone had been destroyed a couple of weeks earlier.
Police tracked down the suspect a short while later.
A 19-year-old Chatham man faces two counts of assault, domestic assault with a weapon, domestic mischief, and uttering threats in connection with the dispute.
