Chatham-Kent police are investigating a snowmobile crash that took place Sunday afternoon in West Kent after a man was seriously hurt.
Police say the crash occurred after 2 p.m. Sunday when a snowmobile went airborne in a farmer’s field on Sloan Road between Finn Line and Morris Line.
A 42-year-old Tilbury man suffered life-threatening injuries and had to be airlifted to London Health Sciences Centre. Police on Monday afternoon said his condition is improving, as he was upgraded to stable condition from serious.
