A routine traffic stop led to two local men facing drug charges early this morning.
Police say an officer pulled over a vehicle on Harwich Street in Chatham about 2 a.m. As two men got out of the vehicle, they tried to discard two baggies of methamphetamine, according to police.
A subsequent search revealed one man also had fentanyl on him.
A Chatham man, 42, and a Raleigh Township man, 55, are charged with possession of a controlled substance and driving while disqualified.
