Two friends went from fixing a tire to fighting last night, with one winding up under arrest.
Police learned about 8:30 p.m. two men, who knew each other, were scrapping on the side of the road while fixing a flat tire on McCreary Line in Chatham Township.
One man suffered minor injuries to his face, and the other fled the scene.
Police located the man shortly after 9 p.m. in Dresden. Police say he was drunk.
Officers learned the man was bound by conditions not to drink booze.
A 33-year-old Chatham man is charged with assault, failing to comply and breach of probation.
