Police have one woman in custody and are looking for another after a foiled break-in attempt yesterday.
Chatham-Kent police say officers noticed a pair of suspicious females near a residence about 2:30 p.m. in the south end of Chatham – one sported a backpack and was standing in the driveway, while the other was reefing on the front door.
The officers recognized the lady in the driveway and stopped to investigate.
A 27-year-old woman faces charges of break and enter and being in possession of break-in tools in connection with the incident.
Police are still looking for the second suspect.
