Two Chatham Kent men were taken into custody on the weekend for failing to comply with conditions of their release.
Shortly after 4:00 a.m. this morning, officers responded to the report of a suspicious person in the area of Oxley Drive in Chatham. A homeowner observed the man in her driveway. Officers were given his physical description.
The man was located riding his bicycle on McNaughton Avenue West. The 36-year-old Chatham man has been charged with failing to comply. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
The man had been released from custody on July 29, with several conditions one of which was that he was to obey a daily curfew of 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
Earlier in the evening a Tilbury man was arrested for being under the influence of alcohol, contrary to conditions issued in April.
The 42-year-old was under court order to abstain from the purchase, possession and consumption of alcohol. He was also held in custody pending a bail hearing
