A truck fire on Highway 401 near Charing Cross Road closed the westbound lanes for about three hours overnight.
According to Chatham-Kent OPP, the big rig caught fire and the tractor portion of the tractor-trailer was engulfed in flames by the time emergency crews arrived on scene.
The westbound lanes were shut between Communication Road and Bloomfield Road for about three hours as a result.
No one was injured, police say.
