The Chatham-Kent Chamber of Commerce received high praise recently from the Chamber Accreditation Council of Canada.
The local chamber earned Accreditation with Distinction from the council, meeting provisions in numerous categories.
“We have demonstrated our principles and contributions to our members, fellow organizations and our community, and are very pleased with the success of our accomplishments,” Chamber President and CEO Gail Bishop said in a release. “The board of directors and staff have worked diligently to attain the values of Accreditation with Distinction and accept this honour with much appreciation.”
The categories met by the chamber include standards of policy, service and performance.
