A weekend break-in resulted in a day in court for a Chatham man.
Police say someone broke into a Patteson Avenue residence Saturday, doing about $250 damage in the process. The thieves made off with about $9,000 in goods, including a TV, power tools and a mountain bike.
Officers believe three people are responsible for the break-in. They arrested their first suspect Sunday evening.
A 29-year-old Chatham man is charged with break and enter, theft, possession of property obtained by crime, and two counts of mischief.
Police continue to search for the other two men.
