Lambton OPP urge citizens to be on the lookout for a metre-long lizard of undetermined origin, which is believed to be roaming the streets of Corunna today.
Police said the lizard was seen “on the move” in a residential yard, but escaped capture.
Police are concerned that the animal may try to seek warmth by lying on roads or in parking lots as the weather cools this evening.
They are asking that anyone seeing the creature contact them or the Blue Water Centre for Raptor Rehabilitation to have it dealt with by professionals. The BCRR can be contacted through 519-466-2443 or 226-349-2443.
