A family argument on Park Street in Chatham led to charges Saturday night.
Chatham-Kent police say shortly after 9 p.m., they received a call about a man causing problems at a residence. By the time police arrived, the man had left.
Police say the man reportedly did some damage in the residence and threatened a family member with a knife.
Officers found the suspect a short while later.
A 20-year-old Chatham man now faces charges of mischief, uttering threats and weapons dangerous.
